The main activities of KIEP JSC are design, engineering and consulting with the functions of general (architect) designer, supervision of construction, overhaul, reconstruction and technical re-equipment, engineering and technical support of operation and repair of equipment in general. life cycle stages of energy sector facilities:

– nuclear power, including nuclear power plants with various types of reactor units and auxiliary systems and facilities;

– thermal power engineering using various types of fuel;

– energy using renewable energy sources;

– management of radioactive waste and nuclear fuel, including facilities for their storage, processing and/or disposal;

Development of NPP decommissioning concepts, programs, feasibility studies, project documentation, etc.

KIEP JSC is the general designer (architectural engineer) of Khmelnytsky and Rivne NPPs, SSE Chernobyl NPP, Centralized Nuclear Fuel Storage Facility and other nuclear power facilities.

The professional services of JSC KIEP in research and development include:

– participation in the work of scientific and technical councils (STC) of ministries and departments of Ukraine;

– interaction with research institutions on the use of materials, new calculation programs and justifications;

– performance of works aimed at improving the safety and reliability of operating NPP units with the introduction of innovative solutions
